NHGDC 3rd Annual Conference Report
Hmong Community in Fresno of San Joaquin Valley, California hosted the 3rd annual NHGDC
Conference and Fundraising functions on March 28-29, 2009. The two days weekend was
filled with full schedule. Hmong organizations such as Hmong International New Year, Lao
Family of Fresno, Lao Family of Merced, Lao Family of Sacramento, Hmong New Year Council,
Lao Family of Minnesota, professionals and community members through-out California were
also among the attendees. Some of the committee members attended the conference from as
far as Washington State, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Florida, Colorado and
Connecticut.
