Shawn Yang, Fundraising Chair

FLORIDA

Shawn Yang is an Executive member and a National Fundraising Committee Chair. A two terms President of Florida Hmong Community, Inc. in the state of Florida.

He was a Board member of SPIFFS (St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society), an international organization with members around the world and a well-known community leader in the Asian-American Community in Tampa Bay Area.

He has experience heading up projects and coordinating community events. In addition, he recently appointed by Pinellas Park, Mayor to the Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber of Commerce Board and chairs the International Culture Affair Committee. 

He serves as an advisor to the Florida Hmong Community board. He is a business entrepreneur running a husband and wife team business in the Home Health Care arena. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at Metropolitan State University, St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota
